A company's modernity and approach to growth can also be seen in the details. We catch up with Giovanni Farese, ceo of the Italian martech Webidoo - specialising in the development of advanced technological solutions for the digital evolution of companies - as he is in Bali for a team building with the group's managers, which includes yoga and meditation sessions. An international team, which follows the company's development from its offices in Italy, Dubai and New York.
A tiring and special team building, because it precedes the launch of a new product related to artificial intelligence that will be launched next 5 June in Milan and that in the intentions of the managers should replicate the success of Jooice, the SaaS (Software as a Service) platform powered by artificial intelligence designed to simplify and accelerate the digital evolution of SMEs, which has also accelerated the development of the now former Italian start-up, born in 2017.
Results 2024 and Targets 2025
In 2024, in fact, Webidoo reached 16 million dolars in revenues and, above all, recorded an increase in EBITDA of about 200%, as Farese points out. Furthermore, the SaaS segment alone recorded an increase of about 300% year-on-year, confirming itself as the main growth driver.
Development plans for 2025 are also ambitious, with a further focus on artificial intelligence and SMEs, as the new product to be unveiled soon will demonstrate. '2025 will be a crucial year,' the CEO confirms. 'We are focusing on new AI-based products, internationalisation and fundraising to further scale our global footprint. The dynamism of markets such as the United States and the Middle East and the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence make this challenge even more exciting, and we are determined to seize it in the best possible way".
Development abroad
.International development is, moreover, at the heart of the expansion strategy, and not only in terms of customers, but also investors, Farese points out, pointing out that Webidoo is looking for capital especially outside Italy, where the company and its products are attracting considerable interest.
