It is only a matter of days and the Ministry of Justice inspectors will arrive. After the decision of the Juvenile Court of L'Aquila to remove the mother of the three children from the family home in Vasto, the legal battle is officially in full swing.
The parents' lawyers, Catherine Birmingham and Nathan Trevallion, announce the appeal, while the next step will be to prevent the couple's children from being transferred to another facility. The answer from the Juvenile Court
According to the president of the Juvenile Court of L'Aquila, Cecilia Angrisano, and the public prosecutor, David Mancini, 'Ensuring the correct growth of the child and the serene development of his or her personality is the guiding principle of the judicial action of the juvenile offices, which is carried out with attention, sensitive participation and involvement of the adult subjects who put themselves in a collaborative position'.
Nordio and the adoption hypothesis (refuted)
'I would say that the time has now come to bring this matter to a final conclusion,' were the words of Minister Nordio. The Ministry's investigation had started last November together with the order to suspend the couple's parental responsibility. It is not excluded that they may be heard by the inspectors.
