When the school doesn't organise the field trip, ScuolaZoo comes along

In recent years, organising an educational trip has become increasingly complex for many high schools. Between bureaucracy, operational responsibilities and logistical difficulties, it often happens that classes give up the traditional school trip or that it is not even proposed. From this concrete need comes the new project dedicated to educational trips by ScuolaZoo Viaggi, designed precisely to support schools, students and teachers in planning and organising educational experiences outside the classroom.

The project was born from a number of reports received by ScuolaZoo - the largest online community of students in Italia - from boys and girls who had never managed to go on an educational trip with their school. In response to this need, ScuolaZoo has created a dedicated page (https://www.scuolazoo.com/viaggi-istruzione) with a form through which both students and teachers can propose their own travel idea indicating destination, period, activities and budget. Starting from this information, the ScuolaZoo Viaggi team takes care of the planning of the all-round experience, managing all organisational aspects: from logistics to the definition of the programme and the coordination of activities.

The project is already looking ahead to the next school year, with the aim of supporting schools from the early planning stages. The aim is not to replace schools, but to work alongside them as an organisational partner, simplifying processes and helping to make educational trips more accessible and operationally sustainable. In this sense, the project is part of a process of listening and collaboration with students and teachers, in order to build solutions that are more and more in line with the needs of the school world.

ScuolaZoo educational trips combine cultural activities, hands-on workshops and light-hearted socialising, designed to make learning more engaging and dynamic. Alongside visits to museums, monuments and historic centres, programmes can include hands-on workshops, interactive city tours with treasure hunts and other experiential activities that allow students to discover cities in original ways. Experiences also include formats such as the silent experience, a mode of urban exploration with wireless headphones that combines music with the discovery of the territory.

The project benefits from the experience of ScuolaZoo Viaggi, a company that has been organising trips for young people in Italia and Europe for over 18 years and has already involved over 117,000 students, with an average satisfaction level of 9.2 out of 10. A consolidated experience, also supported by the tour operator licence, which allows them to manage all phases of the organisation in a structured and safe way. With this initiative, ScuolaZoo strengthens its commitment to supporting the school world, to make educational trips easier to organise and richer from an educational point of view.
