Born in the province of Padua (in Camposampiero) in 1992, he grew up in another municipality in the Padovan area, Borgoricco. He has a brilliant course of studies to his credit: after graduating from high school (100/100), he graduated in law in Padua (110 with honours) with a thesis on canon law. Stefani joined the Lega when he was just 14 years old: it was love at first sight, in front of a party gazebo. 'I was fascinated, I shared its federalist ideas and I joined,' he recounted a few months ago in an interview with Mattino di Padova. He started doing politics in the Lega's youth group and became a minority councillor in Borgoricco in 2014, at the age of 22

From there, a long series of posts: deputy since 2018 (elected for the first time at the age of 26, he was the youngest member of parliament ever elected in the ranks of the League), mayor of Borgoricco in 2019, regional commissioner of the party in 2020, secretary of the Liga veneta from 2023, president of the bicameral commission on federalism, deputy federal secretary from 2024. Stefani enjoys Salvini's full confidence and has excellent relations with Zaia. Stefani shares the moderate profile of the "doge": "I believe in a fair confrontation of ideas, I refuse personal confrontation. In politics, I do not look for enemies to knock down, but for adversaries with whom to dialogue," he assures.
In Rome, he works mainly on social issues (care of the elderly, rights of caregivers, the fight against juvenile discomfort, violence against women and minors). He founded 'Veneto domani', the first political training school of the Liga Veneta. Catholic and with experience in Catholic Action, he told Vanity Fair in an interview that he had a grandfather, Aldo, a Breda worker and proudly communist

On the occasion of the volleyball world championship victory in Manila, he wrote a post on social media to congratulate the men's national team, with the following comment: 'I have played this sport for many years and I can only imagine how much passion, discipline and team spirit there is behind a world championship like this. Commitment and sacrifice always pay off'. Stefani also has an artistic streak because in his spare time he paints and writes.
