The men's final of the Wimbledon tournament, scheduled for next Sunday, will be visible free-to-air in Italy on the TV8 channel. This was announced by Sky, which is making the decisive challenge for the title of the third slam of the year available to fans. The winners of the two semifinals scheduled for tomorrow, Carlos Alcaraz-Taylor Fritz and Jannik Sinner-Novak Djokovic, will take part, visible on Sky Sport Uno, Sky Sport Tennis, Sky Sport 4K and in streaming on Now.

Sinner trains with Basile before the semifinal against Djokovic

An eve training session for Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic ahead of tomorrow's semi-final at Wimbledon. Jannik worked on Court 1 at Aorangi Park today with 18-year-old Pierluigi Basile as sparring partner, again using the sleeve seen yesterday against Shelton to protect his right elbow. Djokovic has been practising not far from Sinner, on Court 2. Sinner and Djokovic have some common ground ahead of tomorrow's semifinal, Friday 11 July, on Wimbledon Central. Jannik went into the quarters against Shelton with an elbow problem, admitting at the end of the match that it was all resolved: 'The elbow? When there is so much tension, you try not to think about it. I don't want to make excuses, it improved a lot, I was able to play my tennis and I showed it. Once again, I thank those who followed the match'.

Sinner played the best match of his Wimbledon against the American, leaving positive signs even if rest remains essential to avoid relapses. Djokovic, who fell off the court not very well in the final of the match against Flavio Cobolli, did not fare any better: "How do I look? I managed to finish the match - the Serb had said after qualifying for the semi-final - but it was a bad fall. I hadn't slipped yet this year and it's strange. With my style of play, my movements and my way of sliding, I fall. We will check the situation with the physiotherapists, I hope everything will be OK in a couple of days'. Another factor to keep in mind heading into the big match.

703,000 TV viewers for Sinner, 475,000 for Cobolli

Excellent ratings for the Wimbledon quarter-final matches exclusively on Sky. In particular, the match between Jannik Sinner and Ben Shelton obtained 703 thousand average viewers in Total Audience, with 7.7% share. The match between Flavio Cobolli and Novak Djokovic also did very well, with 475 thousand average viewers in Total Audience and 3.8% TV share. The figure also includes viewings on big screen and Sky Go.
