The Masaf decree has been published, allocating the 323 million euro of OCM Vino resources to support the wine sector for the 2025/2026 wine year. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty itself gave the news. The main objective,' it says, 'is to ensure the full use of the resources made available by the European Union. In the event of unspent funds, these will be redistributed among the Regions and Autonomous Provinces that will demonstrate a greater capacity for use, in compliance with EU deadlines and on the basis of pre-established criteria.

In detail, the main slice of resources (144.1 million) will go to the vineyard restructuring and reconversion measure. This will be followed by the promotion of wine on foreign markets (98 million), then technological investments in the cellar (with a budget of 57.1 million), distillation of the by-products of wine-making (19.2 million), and to close, green harvesting (i.e. the cutting of bunches of grapes before they are ripe to reduce production) with a budget of 4.3 million).
