Solo i giganti esportano più dell’Italia

It is a growth that continues to be sustained by the new generations that of Solidarietà Veneto, the most widespread supplementary pension fund among workers in Veneto and among the first in Italia. The numbers show a constantly expanding membership base, a steadily decreasing average age of members, and a fund increasingly oriented towards digital innovation.
As of 31 December 2025, the number of members reached 178,000; a dynamic that continues into the new financial year: already in the first weeks of 2026, the threshold of 180,000 was exceeded, confirming a structural growth trend. At the same time, asset expansion continues. Thanks to increased contributions and positive financial management, the total assets in recent weeks have exceeded EUR 2.8 billion. The 3 billion target could be reached before the end of the current term of office led by Paolo Bizzotto (April 2026).
The link with the regional production fabric is also intensifying. At the end of 2025, there were almost 21,000 member companies (20,931), bearing witness to an increasingly direct and ongoing dialogue between the Fund and the entrepreneurial system. Founded in 1990, as the forerunner of territorial pension funds in Italia, with the aim of offering a complementary pension to that provided by the public system, Solidarietà Veneto is a non-profit association promoted and administered by representatives of workers (Cisl, Uil) and employers (Confindustria, Confapi, Confartigianato, Cna, Casartigiani and Federclaai) in the Veneto region. Since 2022 it has also been accredited by Veneto Welfare, an operational unit of the Region.
The increase in volumes matures in a particularly important phase: in a demographic scenario marked by a reduction in the active population and an increase in the number of pensioners, the planned introduction, from 1 July 2026, of the silence-consent mechanism for newly hired first-time employees assumes a central role. The measure aims to encourage younger people to join pension funds at an earlier stage, alongside other measures aimed at increasing the flexibility of benefits and the spread of supplementary pensions, which are called upon to play an increasingly central role in strengthening the pension system. The measure also aims to increase the flexibility of the pension system, and to make it easier for young people to take up pension funds
The growth of Solidarietà Veneto continues to be sustained by the younger generation: the average age of its members (just under 44 years; 42.7 including 'contractual' members) is markedly different from the national figure (47 years), with Belluno confirming its position as the youngest province (average age 42 years), thanks in part to the many members who are family members with tax dependents.
