A worker involved in an accident at work in Noriglio, a hamlet of Rovereto, Trentino, has died. The provincial Uopsal and the Rovereto State Police, who were alerted at around 10.30 a.m. together with the medical services, are investigating the scene. The victim is a 48-year-old man resident in Brescia. He was run over and killed by a set of wooden walls that he was loading with a crane on a building site in Noriglio. The man did not lose his life by falling from a scaffolding as previously reported by the police, who are still carrying out investigations. According to initial investigations, the load would have come off suddenly, crushing the worker to death. Police and technicians from the health authority's Workplace Prevention and Safety Unit were on the scene.
Tractor overturns in the fields, woman dies in the frusinate
A 73-year-old woman died this morning in the fields of Strangolagalli, in the province of Frosinone, when the tractor she was driving overturned, crushing her. All help was useless. The accident happened around 6 a.m. along Via Fonte Lella. The Carabinieri and 118 medical personnel intervened. The woman died of her injuries on impact, practically on the spot. The Carabinieri are reconstructing the context, i.e. whether the woman was alone or whether there were other people driving the vehicle.
