Worker dies crushed by a crane in Livorno

Tragic accident at work this morning in Livorno, in a company in Via Piombanti, in the Shangai district, where a worker lost his life around 9 a.m.. According to initial information, still to be confirmed, the man was crushed by a heavy vehicle, probably a crane, while material was being unloaded.

The 118 emergency services were immediately on the scene, but all attempts at rescue proved futile. The investigation is being entrusted to the state police in order to precisely reconstruct the dynamics of the accident.
