World Ducati Week 2026: the centenary gathering gets underway
On Friday 3 July in Misano, thousands of Ducati riders will celebrate the Italian brand’s centenary
World Ducati Week 2026 is set to rev up its engines. It kicks off on Friday 3 July at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The 2026 edition holds special significance as it coincides with the centenary of the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer, founded on 4 July 1926, and will attract thousands of enthusiasts from all over the world to Misano.
Among the initiatives, the Garage Contest is back. This is the competition through which Ducati celebrates the creativity of customisers and enthusiasts who build special motorcycles based on models from the Borgo Panigale manufacturer. The initiative will be one of the highlights of World Ducati Week – Centenary Edition, taking place from this Friday at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”, where the best creations will be exhibited and awarded prizes in front of an audience of Ducatisti. The competition is open to custom bikes built on Ducati models produced from 2006 onwards and aims to highlight the most original and innovative customisations. An in-house jury comprising company executives, designers and technicians will select the ten finalist bikes, which will take centre stage throughout the event in a dedicated area of the paddock. The three most popular custom bikes will be chosen by the World Ducati Week audience through a dedicated vote. Two further awards will be presented by a technical jury and a jury of Ducati riders respectively. In total, five customisers will be honoured at the ceremony scheduled for Sunday morning, the final day of the event. With the Garage Contest, Ducati reaffirms its commitment to the world of customisation, which has always been an integral part of the brand’s culture, offering an international showcase for customisers and enthusiasts who reinterpret the manufacturer’s models with original stylistic and technical solutions. The competition forms part of the programme for the centenary edition of World Ducati Week, which will attract thousands of motorcyclists and enthusiasts from all over the world to Misano.
To mark the centenary, FantaWDW is also making a comeback – the game dedicated to the Lenovo Race of Champions and the V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy – which will allow users to create their own team of riders and challenge the community with predictions and leaderboards, with the chance to win prizes and exclusive experiences. The highlight of the weekend will be the Lenovo Race of Champions, scheduled for Sunday 5 July, with Ducati MotoGP and Superbike riders taking to the track alongside stars from international championships. Ahead of the race, Ducati and Lenovo have also launched a creative competition to design the official logo for the 2026 edition, which will be featured on the bikes’ livery and in competition materials, with the prize being access to WDW and the chance to present the winner with their trophy on the podium.
The World Ducati Week experience has already begun online with the new official web app, designed to support participants before and during the event: the full programme, an interactive circuit map, real-time updates and exclusive content.
