The brand made its debut in Italy later this year and now renews its offering with the MY26 G6 and G8 models.
Key points
Chinese Chinese company Xpeng renews its offer on the Italian market with the 2026 model year of the G6 and G9, two electric SUVs that stand out for their cutting-edge technology and solutions.
We were in Milan, in the Lombard capital, to road test these two suvs, G6 and G9, which promise over 500 kilometres and a list price starting at just over 43 thousand euro and around 62 thousand euro, respectively (net of promotions).
The Guangzhou brand has been in Italy for a few months
Already present in more than 15 European markets from 2022, the Guangzhou, China-based brand announced its entry into the Italian market in June 2025 with a range imported by ATFlow.
With company divisions dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence, Xpeng literally builds its cars around proprietary software and AI. Among the particular elements shared between the models is the ability to transfer artificial intelligence-based innovation from the driving experience to on-board livability onto the cars.
Xpeng G6, the electric coupé with a range of over 500 km
The smallest in the range, the Xpeng G6, is an electric coupe SUV based on the 800V SEPA 2.0 platform with SiC technology, designed for ultra-fast recharging and maximum energy efficiency.
