The Xpeng P7+ is among the winners of the 2026 edition of the Red Dot Design Award. The new P7+, which is in fact the Chinese brand's flagship saloon as well as being 5.07 metres long, stands out for its high level aerodynamics with a Cx coefficient of 0.211 that enhances its sporty silhouette. Added to this is a cabin that features a 15.6-inch infotaiment, a panoramic roof that extends over both rows of seats, ambient lighting with 256 colours and, finally, a boot capacity of 573 litres, expandable up to 1,931 litres for a total load length of 2.10 metres.
Designed with the help of artificial intelligence, the new P7+ adds both the 800-volt intelligent processing platform and the Touring AI chip, both developed in-house by the Xpeng brand and credited with high performance enabling AI processing of up to 750 Tera operations per second (TOPS). Equipped with a 5C LFP high-voltage battery with a charging capacity of up to 446 kW, it can recover from 10% to 80% in 12 minutes. There are also two battery sizes of 61.7 and 74.9 kWh and two configurations with rear or all-wheel drive.
The basic rear-wheel-drive version of the new P7+ is credited with 245 hp and offers a range of around 447 km. The top level, also with rear-wheel drive, has an additional 68 hp for a range of 530 km. The top variant, on the other hand, is labelled AWD Performanche Pro. Equipped with all-wheel drive, it is able to claim acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and an overall range of around 500 km. It will be on sale from June in Italia.
