Zelensky: 'Moscow uses ballistic missiles supplied by Iran'
"Putin is trying to launch more missiles to kill more children. We try to defend ourselves" as we can, "but they also attack with ballistic missiles that come from Iran". This was said by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, at the ongoing Teha Forum in Cernobbio.
The news was also confirmed by the Wall Street Journal, which quotes some European and American officials.
Russia is believed to have signed a contract in December in Tehran with Iranian officials for the Fath-360 and another ballistic missile system built by the Iranian government-owned Aerospace Industries Organisation (AIO) called Ababil. The shipment comprises about 200 short-range missiles with a range of about 800 kilometres. The report comes as Ukrainian President Zelensky presses his allies for more weapons.
