"Russia has stepped up its offensive on the front thanks to improved weather conditions, but its losses are mounting rapidly. In just seven days, the aggressor country has lost more than 8,000 soldiers dead and wounded."
This was reported by Rbc-Ukraine, citing a statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. "This week we have regis
attempts by the Russians to intensify their offensives, taking advantage of the more favourable weather conditions,' it adds. 'As a result, the only tangible result for the Russian army has been an increase in casualties: in the last seven days alone, more than 8,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or seriously wounded,' the statement reads. "Some of their brigade commanders have already been replaced as punishment for lying. However, this will not help the occupier,' Zelensky stressed.
Meanwhile, today in Florida, delegations from the United States and Ukraine met for a second day of talks "as part of ongoing US-led mediation efforts aimed at establishing a lasting and comprehensive peace agreement for the ongoing conflict". This was written by Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff on social media describing the constructive talks.
"They leveraged the progress made yesterday and focused on key points aimed at establishing a robust and reliable security framework for Ukraine, as well as crucial humanitarian initiatives in the region." In addition to Witkoff, the US delegation included Jared Kushner and White House adviser Josh Gruenbaum. The Ukrainian delegation included Davyd Arakhamia, Kyrylo Budanov, Rustem Umerov and Serhii Kyslytsia.
