Alfa Romeo, new Stelvio and Giulia cancelled. A C-Suv will arrive
Biscione becomes a regional brand in new Stellantis facility
Goodbye new Alfa Romeo Stelvio and new Giulia. The confirmation came during the presentation of the Fastlane 2030 strategic plan, where CEO Antonio Filosa clarified the future of the Biscione brand.
The slide shown and the positioning as a 'regional brand' linked to Europe show what Alfa Romeo's future will look like, with the current range confirmed to consist of the Junior, Tonale, Stelvio, Giulia and 33 Stradale.
Nuovo C Suv Alfa Romeo
In the future will come a C suv under the Alfa Romeo brand, most likely on a multi-energy platform that will result in an offer composed of hybrid, plug-in and even fully electric versions. A model that could take the name Giulietta, bringing the historic name back into the range but with a change of body.
Alfa Romeo Bottega Fuoriserie
As confirmed by the slide, Alfa Romeo is working on a new project from the Bottega Fuoriserie division. A model that will combine sportiness, driving dynamics and a decidedly high build quality with a significant purchase price and a limited series run.
Addio new Alfa Romeo Stelvio
The Fastlane 2030 strategic plan puts an end to the possibility of seeing a new Alfa Romeo Stelvio, despite the car being practically ready as written in the past. A model thought to be all-electric in the Tavares era, its debut subsequently postponed and eventually cancelled completely despite the age of the current Stelvio launched ten years ago. Same debut year, 2016, for the current Giulia, also destined not to be replaced by the second generation.
