Pet Camper Tour Jubilee Edition" kicks off with Police, Carabinieri and Anas. The Jubilee is tinged with green and becomes even more animal-friendly. From 10 May 2025 thethe four-legged green heart of the "Pet Camper Tour" will be revving up again! For the fifth year running, the travelling campaign, pulsating with energy and commitment, is back on the road to sow awareness about environmental protection, the fight against litter and road safety. A special edition inspired by the luminous figure of Saint Francis of Assisi, the saint who spoke to the birds and called "Brother Wolf", to create a link with the Jubilee, which in this way is tinged with green and becomes even more animal-friendly. The Pet Carpet association, with its president, journalist Federica Rinaudo, is ready to return to the roads, with the patronage of the Carabinieri, Anas (Fs Group), Fnovi and in collaboration with the State Police, to resume its journey and carry forward a decidedly significant message respecting all forms of life and in line with Pope Francis' encyclical 'Laudato si', which recalls the legacy left by the saint of Assisi.
The tour stages
.From 10 May 2025 the colourful caravan will stop for the first time exclusively in Lazio, precisely to pay homage to the Holy Year, with four appointments, made possible thanks to the support of leading realities such as PetStore Conad and Vitakraft, which have been on the side of animals for years, and Verdemax on the side of nature, which will take place in some meeting places frequented by a public of all ages. The tour stops, 10 and 11 May Talenti Village Shopping Centre, 17 and 18 May Aura Shopping Centre a stone's throw from San Pietro, 14 and 15 June MagicLand amusement park in Valmontone and 21 and 22 June Aquafelix water park in Civitavecchia, will become moments for meeting and reflection.
The Activities
.The activities on offer include: creative workshops to educate on the importance of recycling and caring for plants and animals, meetings to raise awareness on responsible adoption and the fight against abandonment, a cruel act that St Francis would certainly have deplored. This synergy of forces will make it possible to address sensitive issues with an engaging approach, through sensory experiences, games and quizzes, designed for both adults and children. A special opportunity will be offered to those who wish to leave a video testimony or dedication dedicated to their four-legged friends or wild animals. The team of videomakers will collect these emotional stories, which can then be selected for the Pet Carpet Film Festival, the international film festival on the animal world scheduled for September 2025. A special focus at each stage will be on biodiversity, a crucial element for the health of our planet, and road safety, especially when travelling with children and pets in tow. The Pet Camper Tour will be a reminder of the importance of prudence behind the wheel, especially during out-of-town trips and holidays, when the rush to reach the destination can make people forget fundamental rules.
