The heirs of Silvio Berlusconi, who passed away on 12 June 2023, don't fail to provide financial support to Forza Italia, with 600,000 euro to which 100,000 euro paid by the former premier's last companion, MP Marta Fascina, should be added. The news was anticipated by Open. The contributions were deposited in the party coffers on 20 June and will be made public in the coming weeks - in accordance with legal obligations - in the list of contributions, benefits and other forms of support received.
A cheque for 100 thousand euro each
.As in recent years, Berlusconi's five children, Marina, Pier Silvio, Barbara, Eleonora and Luigi each contributed 100 thousand euro (this is the maximum contribution allowed for liberal donations in favour of a single political party with a 26% deduction an amount up to 30 thousand euro), and so did Paolo Berlusconi, the Forza Italia founder's younger brother. The same amount was contributed by Marta Fascina, who had already paid 98,700 euro to Forza Italia in several instalments last year.
Moratti and Scaroni among the backers
The list of contributions received by the party, updated up to May, also includes the more than 32,000 euro paid by Letizia Moratti, MEP and chairman of Forza Italia's National Council, and the 35,000 deposited in January by Paolo Scaroni, chairman of Enel and Milan. Tci - Telecomunicazioni Italia, a company from Saronno (Varese), on the other hand, contributed 40 thousand euros.
In the last three years 2 million euro
.As mentioned, the Berlusconi family's support has been identical for some time: last year, too, six 100,000 euro payments arrived in the blue party coffers, one for each of Berlusconi's five children. Same pattern in 2023 and 2022. In a three-year period, 1.5 million euro to which half a million is added for 2025 for a total of 2 million euro.
