Utility bills, how the extra bonus coming in July works

After the start in April of the first allocations of the extra bonus, the extraordinary €200 contribution decided by the government with the last bill decree for families with an Isee (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) between €9,530 and €25,000, the second phase began in June, which will concern the distribution of the facilitation to all those with an Isee higher than €9,530. A step that, in all likelihood, will take place no earlier than July.
How the delivery happens
.As you will recall, at the end of March, the Authority for Energy, Networks and the Environment set out the allocation methods, establishing an initial start for families that already receive the discount on their bills (i.e. those with an Isee up to 9,530 euro), while for all the others the allocation would start once the Isee certificate had been acquired from the potential beneficiaries and all the necessary checks had been made. The extraordinary contribution, as is well known, is disbursed in daily instalments that are added to the amounts already collected with the social electricity bonus and are differentiated according to the size of the household.
What happens from June
The counting of new beneficiaries started at the beginning of June. According to the timetable dictated by Arera, from the beginning of the month, in fact, the Integrated Information System operator (the 'big brain' that contains the data of all energy users), on the basis of the information received from Inps - which has, instead, the overall picture of the Isee - is called upon to identify the holders of electricity supplies who will be entitled to the contribution of 200 euro and will notify the information to the operators, who will have to provide the discount within three months, giving due evidence in the bill.
Starting in July
.But when will the disbursements for this second block start? Probably not before July, since the operators will have to guarantee the disbursement of the extra bonus from the next bill. In any case, the Isee certificate to receive the benefit can be submitted until the end of the year, and the disbursement of the extra contribution will continue until March 2026.
