Boeing 737 Max 10 gets the green light from the US. First deliveries in 2027
The 737 Max 10, designed to compete with the Airbus A321neo, can carry up to 230 passengers and has already secured over 1,500 orders, including those from United Airlines and Alaska Airlines
Boeing has received certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the US civil aviation authority, for the 737 Max 10, the largest model in the American manufacturer’s family of single-aisle aircraft.
This brings to an end a lengthy approval process, which was marked by delays following two fatal accidents involving other models in the same range, as well as technical and quality issues.

The go-ahead paves the way for the first deliveries, scheduled for 2027, and marks an important step in Boeing’s recovery, as the company works to regain competitiveness and reduce its debt. This certification follows that granted in August to the 737 Max 7, the smallest model in the same family.
