Adventurous Brazil along the dunes of the Rota das Falésias

Between the states of Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte along the North-East of Brazil, the Rota das Falésias is a still little-known itinerary, which is travelled entirely by 4x4, accompanied by expert drivers. The route covers kilometres and kilometres of off-road stretches - with stops in Fortim, Canoa Quebrada, Macau, Galinhos and São Miguel do Gostoso - between dunes and cliffs, marvellous sand walls shaped over the centuries by the ocean, wind and tides. Each trip is an experience, governed by the rhythm of the tides and the beauty of a still intact nature. During boat trips between dunes and beaches, one stops to gather fresh oysters to be enjoyed during an original and spectacular lunch.
