Christmas bonus, labour consultants: amendment and widening of the target group 'has little vision'

"The modification and enlargement of the list of possible beneficiaries of the so-called 'Christmas Bonus', decided by the Mef, has little vision, little operational capacity, and will create numerous problems. In fact, this situation poses quite a few difficulties for labour consultants, who had already mobilised to make available what was necessary for the provision of the Christmas Bonus, in light of the original regulatory indication'. Thus, the president of the National Association of Employment Consultants (Ancl), Dario Montanaro.
"As a union that represents and protects the interests of our members," he continued, "we are forced to mobilise in order to make known a situation that is unsustainable for our category, which is confronted on a daily basis, today more than ever, with multiple regulatory uncertainties, which then translate into obstacles for our work and which in fact prevent us from carrying it out seriously and correctly. "With specific reference to the 'Christmas bonus', given the uncertainty still surrounding the beneficiaries, and considering the upcoming fulfilment that awaits us, we suggest to the Mef to review the procedure for issuing the bonus itself and to provide that it is the workers themselves who obtain the benefit through the 730 form, unlike what is currently envisaged, i.e. that it is the worker who asks for it, through the employer and, consequently, the employment consultant," Montanaro concluded.
