The Veneto Court of Auditors investigates the bobsleigh track in Cortina

The regional public prosecutor's office of the Corte dei Conti per il Veneto has begun investigations into a possible loss of revenue in connection with the Sliding centre in Cortina D'Ampezzo. This was revealed today by the Veneto daily newspapers of the Nem group. The accounting magistracy is also allegedly investigating possible offences connected with the handing-over of the facility to Simico, which took place a few days ago, for the repair of some damage found after the Winter Olympics Milan Cortina 2026.

On this last point, the public prosecutor's office aims to verify whether the problems encountered are attributable to the management of the facility by the Milan Cortina Foundation during the Games or predate the Olympic event, in essence verifying whether there is a deterioration of the facilities, or damage due to their use.
