Death of David Rossi, parliamentary bis committee: 'The trail is that of murder'
The expert report focused on the dynamics of the fall, the tightness tests on the strap of the watch worn by Rossi and the origins of the injuries to his left wrist
"The track now is that of murder or murder as a consequence of another crime: they certainly kept him hanging out of the window and the injuries on his wrist were created." Gianluca Vinci, president of the parliamentary commission of enquiry bis into the death of former Mps communications chief David Rossi, speaks of the results of the expert's report illustrated by Ris lieutenant-colonel Adolfo Gregori and forensic doctor Robbi Manghi. The expert's report focused on the dynamics of the fall, on the tightness tests on the strap of the watch worn by Rossi, and on the origins of the injuries to his left wrist.
For Vinci, the injuries at Rossi's place were either created 'in an extortionate manner', because 'they wanted to expose him outside the window to frighten him and then withdraw him inside, or he was let go. In any case, one can speak of murder'. In recent weeks, the investigation has also included a new inspection of the alley where the former MPS bank communications chief was found lifeless on 6 March 2013.
"The expert report is very clear," Vinci noted, "the wounds on the wrist and the examination of the video show that the watch was no longer on his wrist at the time of the fall and that, in fact, we can no longer speak of suicide. 'When Rossi entered the bank he had no injuries,' he further stressed, 'and when he was found he had three bloody wounds at the height of the watch case, but thanks to the efforts and investigative activity of the Ris, the video footage has been re-examined and we can see that the watch case falls first and the strap afterwards. So he falls to the ground with his wrist completely lacerated but this cannot be due to the impact on the ground'.
Gregori (Res); "Someone held him by the left wrist hanging from the balcony"
"The certain fact is that when David Rossi fell, someone was holding him by the left wrist hanging from the balcony. He was hanging from the balcony with someone holding him, at least in the last moment, and holding him by the left wrist, causing the injuries and the detachment of the watch". This was stated by Ris lieutenant-colonel Adolfo Gregori, consultant to the parliamentary commission of enquiry bis on the death of David Rossi, illustrating to the same commission the results of the recently conducted expert report.
