Tour of armchairs in Italian design. The protagonists are two iconic brands of high-end furniture and kitchens, both from Friuli: Moroso and Valcucine.
After an impressive 17-year career at Moroso, Damir Eškerica (ceo since 2018) is leaving his position to take over as managing director at Valcucine, starting next September.
Instead, the Udine-based company has been joined by Fabrizio Turchet, who assumed the role of general manager on 1 July. "The arrival of Fabrizio Turchet coincides with a new chapter for Moroso," said Roberto Moroso, "at a time when the company is evolving and preparing to face new challenges, which require different skills and a complementary vision. Fabrizio brings with him a solid and transversal experience in business management, which we are certain will help to further strengthen Moroso's structure". The chairman thanked Eškerica 'for his commitment, dedication and the results achieved together over the years. He has accompanied Moroso on an important growth path, making a significant contribution to the brand's international development".
Fabrizio Turchet, originally from Friuli Venezia Giulia, has a degree in Economics and Business from Ca' Foscari University in Venice and a Master's degree in International Management (CIMBA - University of Iowa). During his career he held positions of increasing responsibility, eventually becoming ceo and cfo Emea of Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A., where he worked from 1993 to 2024.
With this new set-up, Moroso prepares to continue its development in the world of design, with an even more structured approach based on the integration of creativity, management and innovation. Alongside Fabrizio, the Moroso family - at the helm of the company since its foundation - firmly retains its strategic direction, reaffirming its commitment to enhancing the heritage of creativity, innovation and international relations built up over time.
