Riccardo Bellini is the new CEO of Valentino. This was announced by the fashion house itself, adding that the appointment will take effect on 1 September.
"With Riccardo's appointment, we are accelerating Valentino's journey. I know his vast experience in luxury, his strategic acumen and his proven leadership, which, together with the great creative vision of Alessandro Michele, will guide the maison into the future and amplify its unique identity," said Rachid Mohamed Rachid, Valentino's chairman.
"I am honoured to join Valentino, an iconic maison that combines extraordinary tradition and craftsmanship with a unique creative voice. I look forward to working with Alessandro Michele and the exceptional Valentino team to celebrate the maison's timeless values and write its next chapter," said Bellini, who previously served as ceo of Maison Margiela and Chloé, and held senior business and marketing leadership roles at Diesel and Procter & Gamble.
A graduate of the Bocconi University and the Iese Business School, Bellini has thirty years of managerial experience in the fashion and luxury industry.
