Ferrari Luce sets a record: the first model sold for $40 million at Sotheby’s

The first model ever produced (chassis 0”) of the new Ferrari Luce in the exclusive Tailor Made version was sold at auction by RM Sotheby’s during Monterey Car Week for a record sum of 40 million dollars.

The car is entirely white, both on the outside and inside.

All the proceeds were donated to the Ferrari Foundation.

The move may also have been organised to reignite the hype surrounding this much-discussed model, which dominated the motoring news before the summer.
