Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani: limited edition for the 125th anniversary of the Turin-based brand

A new version of the Fiat 500 is born, combining the Italianism of the car brand with the know-how of the Italian fashion house Giorgio Armani.

 A story that began in 1899, that of Fiat, which today is at La Pista 500 (Lingotto) to celebrate this important anniversary: 125 years.

Fiat was a very important brand in the history of Italy because it literally motorised the nation, thanks to models such as the Fiat 500, a car built from 1957 onwards.

Today, after producing millions of cars, a common thread links the brand's past to the present and the future: a specific way of understanding the car that still distinguishes the brand globally. Special guest of the celebration is the Giorgio Armani 500e, the refined limited edition that will be distributed worldwide and that combines Italian excellence with eco-sustainability.

The Fiat 500 mild hybrid will be called Torino.

Finally, there is also news for the hybrid version, a 12-volt mild hybrid, based on the conversion to thermal power of the electric 500 built in Mirafiori. The car that will debut next year will be called Torino. And it seems to be a response to the controversy over Italian sounding that led Alfa Romeo to rename the baby suv launched as the Milan Junior.
