"Piccole Avventure Romane - the short film made for Rinascente, the brand that has always been able to interpret and shape Italian taste - was an important opportunity for me to pay homage to and narrate the value and essence of Italian excellence through the language I know best: the language of cinema," said Sorrentino. "Receiving the Special Award dedicated to Made in Italy, in this third edition of the Premio Film Impresa, is a great honour for me. A recognition that continues to strengthen that deep and unique link between cinema and reality,' he stressed.

Interest grows for Premio Film Impresa

"The third edition of the Premio Film Impresa saw an important growth in interest in the event: in addition to the increase in the number of films entered in the competition, and their excellent quality of production, there was an increase in the number of spectators attending the screenings and participation in the meetings organised over the three days," said Premio Film Impresa President Giampaolo Letta. "This success encourages us to work immediately on the next edition, which will be even richer in films and events. I would like to thank Artistic Director Mario Sesti, General Manager Simona Anelli, the jury led by Caterina Caselli, the partners who once again this year made PFI possible, and all the women and men who worked with truly extraordinary professionalism and passion".

Social Narrative and Territorial Recovery

The special event Social Narration and Territorial Recovery was also staged during the day. Future and innovation: How to change the face of urban interactions and their landscape, moderated by the deputy editor of Il Messaggero Alvaro Moretti, who spoke with Giuseppe Biazzo, President of Unindustria; Serena Chieli, Director of the Strategic Infrastructures and Maintenance Project of the Municipality of Arezzo; Stefano Giacoma, Business to Government Sales Director Edison Next; Marco Morelli, Director of Real Estate, Security and Digital Teatro alla Scala in Milan; Massimiliano Smeriglio, Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Rome; Edoardo Zanchini, Director of the Climate Office of the Municipality of Rome; Tobia Zevi, Councillor for Heritage and Housing Policies of the Municipality of Rome.

National Reference Point

.

"The Film Impresa Award, promoted by Unindustria, has become a national reference point for those who want to combine business, culture, creativity and territory," stressed Unindustria President Giuseppe Biazzo. "We live in the second manufacturing country in Europe, but we often do not realise it. Business, today, needs to be told in a new, modern, inspired way. And there is no better tool than cinema, which is able to excite and make people think. Unindustria has believed in this project because we are convinced that the link between industry and creativity is a fundamental lever for the economic and cultural growth of our territory. The audiovisual sector is a strategic asset for Lazio: a fundamental part of the Italian film industry is concentrated here, with a know-how and production capacity that have no equals in our country. Our region ranks first in Italy in terms of number of companies (2,500), employment (15,000) and turnover (3.3 billion Euro). Supporting this sector means not only enhancing an industrial sector of excellence, but also creating new development and employment opportunities'.

The Role of Artificial Intelligence

.

Opening the closing event was the talk Artificial Intelligence: the state of things. Enterprises speak. The application of AI in contemporary business practice, with the screening of the video essay AI: a cinematic archaeology, followed by the speeches of Vittoria Carli, Unindustria Vice President, and Raniero Romagnoli, CTO Almawave.

The memory of Ennio Lucarelli

Space was then given to a special event dedicated to the memory of Ennio Lucarelli, a tribute to the founder of ISED with the premiere screening of Ennio Lucarelli: il sistema delle idee, the documentary film by Mario Sesti and Caterina Taricano that reconstructs the human and entrepreneurial activities of a true innovator and pioneer of the IT industry. Immediately after the screening there were speeches by his children Monica, Guido, Giovanna, Riccardo and his wife Vittoria Carli, followed by greetings from the Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri.

Rome excellence in audiovisual

'Today Rome,' said the mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri, 'is taking an extraordinary leap into the future: innovation is a concrete reality with the 5G plan, the Atlas project, Julia AI for tourism, and much more. But Rome is also an audiovisual excellence, a sector where creativity and enterprise are strongly intertwined. This is why it is important to enhance moments of confrontation such as Film Impresa, which offer an authoritative space to reflect on development and transformation. In this context, dedicating a tribute to Ennio Lucarelli - a symbol of vision and innovation - is a significant act. His bond with Rome is deep and reminds us of the city we want to build: increasingly digital and dynamic, combining beauty and future, memory and modernity'.

Participation Grows

"This year's Premio Film Impresa saw a truly impressive turnout. Many authors, specialists in corporate films, confessed, in front of the audience, that they had never seen such a large and enthusiastic audience for their works," commented Artistic Director Mario Sesti. "A jury of 40 volunteers selected from more than 200 applications followed the entire programme of screenings, which, as in major festivals, were accompanied by the authors, productions and companies that introduced them. We can truly say that as of this year, PFI has become one of the capital's best-loved film events, along with the festivals that have existed for many years, in an entirely innovative area of imagination and production".

Caterina Caselli president of the jury

Immediately afterwards, Giampaolo Letta and Mario Sesti spoke with the well-known singer and record producer Caterina Caselli, who chaired this year's jury that awarded a prize to the works in each of the competition categories. This was followed by a thank-you to all the members of the jury: Unindustria President Giuseppe Biazzo, President Orsini's Delegate for Confindustria - Tourism and Culture Industry Technical Group Leopoldo Destro, Biagiotti Group President Lavinia Biagiotti Cigna, Unindustria Health and Safety at Work Award President Gian Rodolfo Bertoli, the President of Anima for Social in Business Values Antonella Sabrina Florio, actor Francesco Gheghi, the Deputy Editor of Il Messaggero Alvaro Moretti, film producer Elisabetta Olmi and screenwriter and director Giovanni Veronesi.

The role of schools

.

"It has been a surprising, beautiful and positive experience, the films have told us about realities that in some cases we did not know about and that would deserve to be divulged outside this context, for example in schools," commented Jury President Caterina Caselli. "We tried to reward the representation of entrepreneurial values, innovation, the relationship with the territory, business ethics, originality, and the ability to communicate corporate identity, i.e. not only knowing how to do but also how to make people know. We worked in great harmony, and I would like to thank all my fellow travellers on the jury for the discussion and constructive ideas. I am certain that this award will have a bright future and it would not be out of place, in future editions, to also award a prize to the best soundtrack and best song'.
