Flu vaccinations: here is the calendar region by region
Vaccinations have begun for the most vulnerable, such as pregnant women, children and young people between 6 months and 17 years of age, the over 60s and workers for whom the vaccine is recommended
October is the month of flu vaccines all over Italy. As of first October, in fact, several regions have started the campaign. Six in particular, between North and South: Campania, Lazio, Lombardia, Sicilia, Toscana and Veneto.
Vaccinations have begun for the most fragile individuals, such as pregnant women, children and young people between 6 months and 17 years of age, the over 60s, and workers for whom the vaccine is recommended. Afterwards, however, they will be available free of charge for everyone.
The aim is to improve coverage throughout the country. A year ago, 52.5% of the elderly were vaccinated; the target is 75%. And this year, too, the co-administration of the flu vaccine with the anti-Covid-19 vaccine, which has been upgraded to the LP.8.1 variant of Sars-CoV-2, is planned on request.
