Saturday 12 July, from 8.30am to 10am, Radio 24 returns Friends and foes - the news of the week. The programme, hosted by the deputy editor of Sole 24 Ore Daniele Bellasio, will air this Saturday with an in-depth episode on the environment and schools.

It is precisely to schools that the first part of the programme will be devoted. The year that has just ended, the INVALSI 2024 tests and the new measures announced by Education and Merit Minister Giuseppe Valditara (the ban on the use of mobile phones in primary and secondary schools and the use of artificial intelligence in some institutes) will be commented on by Vincenzo Arte, a mathematics and physics teacher at the Liceo Morgagni in Rome, and Anna Boatti, an Italian and Latin teacher at the Liceo Virgilio in Milan and a Latin literature teacher at the University of Milan.

After the radio magazine, there will be space to talk about "Comprami", the investigative podcast on OnlyFans produced by Il Sole 24 Ore. Created by Daniele Vaschi and Andrea Franceschi, who will be the guest of the episode, "Comprami" won the Italian Podcast Awards as best podcast of the year.

At 8.15 a.m., the part devoted to the environment and climate change will begin with an interview with Bjørn Lomborg, a Danish researcher and author famous throughout the world for his 2001 bestseller 'The Sceptical Environmentalist', who recently published his new book in Italy entitled 'Falso allarme. Why climate catastrophism makes us poorer and does not help the planet' (Fazi editore).

In closing, from 8.45 a.m., it will be time for Benedetta Scuderi, newly elected MEP with the Left Green Alliance (AVS), who will be interviewed by host Daniele Bellasio about Europe, the Green Deal and the environment.
