The decree of the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy, in agreement with the Ministry of the Economy, containing the provisions on the contribution for the purchase of large household appliances, or the 'home appliance bonus', has been published in the Official Gazette. It will now be 'one or more directorial decrees' of the competent Directorate General of Mimit to indicate 'the timing of the activation of the initiative,' the decree reads, 'the duration, the operation of the IT platform, the personal data processing activities, and the criteria for verification and control carried out by the managing bodies.
The rules for obtaining the contribution
The contribution, equal to 30% of the cost of the household appliance, up to a maximum of 100 euros (200 if the user has an Isee of less than 25,000 euros), will be granted "respecting the temporal order in which the applications are presented", i.e. by click day, and its "recognition is subject to the actual availability of financial resources".

The budget allocated by the last manoeuvre is EUR 50 million. The contribution, in the form of a voucher, will be "granted to the end user over the age of 18 and is expendable with the seller for the purchase of a single household appliance per household, with a consequent reduction in the final sale price paid by the end user". At the outcome of the checks on the requirements, 'the IT platform confirms to the user the right to the recognition of the contribution and indicates its maximum amount through the issuance of a voucher, having a limited validity in time from the moment of issuance, associated with the tax code of the requesting end user,' reads the decree.
