From the weight of the first house to the new equivalence scales: the new Dsu for Isee

The new measures for calculating the Isee enter into the new Dichiarazione sostitutiva unica. With a decree issued by the Ministry of Labour on 2 March, the updated model of the Dsu was approved: a single article accompanied by a long annex in which there are various forms that also include the new measures included in the Manoeuvre.

The first concerns the increase in the deductible on the value of the main home, which rises to €91,500 and to €120,000 for households residing in one of the 14 metropolitan cities. To these amounts is added an increase of 2,500 euro for each cohabiting child after the first.

The equivalence scales also changed: 0.1 in the case of a household with two children; 0.25 in the case of three children; 0.40 in the case of four children; and 0.55 in the case of at least five children. Compared to the current rule, therefore, a specific surcharge is also introduced for the case of a household with two children and each of the other specific surcharges in question is increased by 0.5.

For the pre-filled SUDs, the automatic exclusion of government securities, postal savings bonds and postal savings books from movable assets up to €50,000 per household is confirmed. While, for the presentation of the Dsu in self-declared mode, the exclusion must be made by the declarant.

Recently, further novelties have been included with regard to the Isee. Not in the Manovra, this time, but in the Pnrr decree, which is already in force. More than new benefits, it is a change to the procedure for applying for benefits. From now on, with the automatic Isee, it will be universities, schools and the public administration in general that will directly retrieve information from the National Digital Data Platform (Pdnd), interrogating the Inps databases. Information that administrations will only be able to find if citizens submit the Dichiarazione sostitutiva unica.
