"We can finally say it: we are ready for #Giffoni54, which will take place from 19 to 28 July" at Giffoni Valle Piana and will be "a great edition, in our intentions truly memorable, stronger and more intense than ever" This was said by the founder and director of Giffoni Film Festival, Claudio Gubitosi, at the closing of Giffoni Shock, a new project dedicated to art and the most innovative and creative expressive languages.
"We start on Tuesday 23 April with the drawing of the juries, the charge of the approximately 5,000 jurors, from many cities and towns in Italy and 45 countries. They are the driving force behind everything. This will be followed by the selection of the 250 young people who will animate one of the most important sections, Impact. Gradually we will present all the pieces of the beautiful mosaic that is Giffoni,' he announced. 'We are still waiting,' Gubitosi added, 'for the government and the Campania Region to sign the programme agreement for the Development and Cohesion Funds. But it is clear that one of the biggest events, one of the most eagerly awaited in Campania, Italy and the world, could only be officially confirmed. I would like to thank the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, for having shown great attention towards us, guaranteeing support and collaboration for the realisation of #Giffoni54'.
