Key points
At 170 million euro, the 2025 consolidated turnover achieved by Fornaci Calce Grigolin is the most significant result in the company's history, up from the 160 million recorded in 2024.
Growth
Today, Fornaci Calce Grigolin, part of the Grigolin Group, has 345 employees, up from 280 in 2024 (the Group exceeds 2,000 in total). The result obtained confirms a path of constant growth and strengthens its position in the building materials sector. Once the expansive phase brought about by the incentives has come to an end, the sector's scenario is characterised by a greater selectivity of demand: the company is focusing on operational proximity, technical expertise and distribution capillarity. Francesca Grigolin, CEO of Fornaci Calce Grigolin, explains: "In an increasingly competitive market, proximity to the customer, speed of execution and clarity of objectives make the difference. Growing means reacting promptly to changes, but also having the determination to aim for more ambitious goals each time".
The Strategy
Strengthening the logistics network is one of the cornerstones of the company's strategy: in just one year, the number of depots increased from 15 to 21, significantly expanding the logistics coverage, particularly in Lombardy and the main provincial basins. A new depot in Montecchio Maggiore is scheduled to open in March 2026, followed by further expansion in Emilia-Romagna. At the same time, the sales network of 120 professionals will be expanded by 10% over the course of the year, with new additions concentrated mainly in Central and Southern Italy.
On the building site front, 2025 saw the company play a leading role in high-tech and symbolic interventions, especially in the field of restoration, and the new Palladio Archè line was developed, consisting of 100% lime-based solutions, therefore cement-free, designed to meet the conservation requirements of one of the most important monumental interventions currently underway in Italia. Fornaci Calce Grigolin was selected for the construction of the bobsleigh track in Cortina, a strategic infrastructure for the recently completed Milan 2026 Winter Olympics. The work, completed in record time, saw the use of a concrete developed ad hoc to guarantee structural performance and durability in a track characterised by high engineering complexity, and is part of a broader commitment of the Group in the Ampezzo area, with numerous infrastructural and urban redevelopment projects.
The Network
Results and plans for 2026 were shared during this year's national sales network convention entitled 'Fast & Focus 2026', which brought together the company's entire sales network.
