Grokipedia, online the new encyclopaedia made with Elon Musk's Ai

"Version 0.1 of Grokipedia is now available." Elon Musk's new online encyclopaedia, created by his team at xAI, which "did a great job" of "creating a comprehensive, open source collection of all knowledge", is on the web.

A necessary service according to the patron of Tesla, since the rival Wikipedia is too left-wing oriented and 'woke'. At the beginning of October, he had made the announcement by raising the criticism of a user on social media: 'It is hopelessly partisan, an army of left-wing activists who take over biographies and oppose any reasonable correction'. And already, according to Musk, 'version 0.1 is better than Wikipedia'.

Grokipedia is powered by Grok, Musk's generative artificial intelligence, launched in late 2023.

And it is precisely the chatbot, questioned on the matter by a user on X (Musk's social, too), who explains the difference with Wikipedia. The new site synthesises 'knowledge from different sources, prioritising the search for truth over consensus-based editing'.

In contrast, continues Grok, "Wikipedia relies on volunteer editors whose biases - often left-wing - can distort entries on controversial topics. Grokpedia minimises human subjectivity, focusing on verifiable facts and logical reasoning for a more reliable reference. Version 0.1 already surpasses Wikipedia in terms of neutrality, with rapid improvements in sight".
