"Indispensable elements that, in a complex and constantly evolving geopolitical context, enable the Sardinian port system to strengthen its competitiveness by focusing on infrastructures suited to the market, sustainability, digitalisation and administrative quality. Indispensable assets for the attraction of productive investments and the development of new traffic, for which, as early as 2026, the AdSP will implement all the necessary marketing policies aimed at intercepting".

On the infrastructure front, under the Adsp falling under the authority of the Port Authority are approximately 380 concessions throughout the port system, for an annual collection of around 12.839 million euro in fees, the approved document highlights the progress of the main strategic construction sites in the ports under its jurisdiction. Significant work is being carried out in Cagliari's Canal Port, where the new Ro-Ro Terminal and infrastructure works connected with the road network and supporting logistics are progressing. Work is also progressing in the port of Oristano Santa Giusta, with the construction of the service centre for agri-food logistics, in the port of Porto Torres for the Antemurale di Ponente, and 'ordinary and extraordinary maintenance in all the other ports under its jurisdiction (Arbatax, Olbia, Golfo Aranci, Santa Teresa, Portovesme, and Sarroch).

Attention is also paid to environmental and energy sustainability. "2025 is, in fact, the year of the full operational phase of the programme for the electrification of the docks (cold ironing) of the ports of the system," he emphasises. "At the same time, projects for energy efficiency, electric mobility, and technological innovation have been launched, including the development of the Port Community System and experimental interventions in the field of renewable energy, such as the Millepiedi in Porto Torres.
