Healthcare professions: 38,000 places on offer; applications now open
The 41 state universities have published the instructions for submitting applications, which must be made by 10 September: the exam is scheduled for 16 September for all applicants

A total of 38,184 places have been advertised by the 50 universities, of which 33,898 are at the 41 state universities and 4,286 at the 9 non-state universities. Compared with last year’s 36,873 places, this represents an increase of 1,311, or +3.6 per cent, with the number of courses rising from 499 to 502 across the 22 professions, including nurses, physiotherapists, midwives, speech and language therapists, radiology technicians, laboratory technicians, neurophysiopathology technicians, dietitians and others.
Most of the places are for the Bachelor’s degree programme in Nursing, with 20,672 places – accounting for 54.1 per cent – representing an increase of +1.3 per cent compared with last year’s 20,409 places. The course allocation was determined by the Ministry of Universities by Decree No. 1,014 of 7 August for the entrance examination scheduled by the same ministry for 16 September across the 41 state universities.
