Enhancement of Defence heritage and culture stops at training
The course promoted by the Ministry will start in March to train a new generation of professionals capable of managing, promoting and enhancing the tangible and intangible assets of Defence, integrating strategic vision, managerial skills and institutional culture
Defence is focusing on training to enhance the heritage and culture that are part of its DNA. In fact, on 10 March in Rome, at the Centro Alti Studi Difesa and in the presence of Defence Minister Guido Crosetto, the 2nd level master's degree course in 'Valorisation of Defence Heritage and Culture' will be presented, set up to train professionals capable of managing and enhancing the Italian Defence heritage.
The course
The course (1,500 hours in total, 60 university training credits, from March to November) is designed to train a new generation of professionals capable of managing, promoting and enhancing the tangible and intangible assets of Defence, integrating strategic vision, managerial skills and institutional culture.
Organised by the Casd, Difesa servizi spa and the Committee for the Development and Enhancement of Defence Culture, the master's course is characterised by an integrated approach that combines frontal lectures, workshops, seminars, individual study, curricular internships and a final dissertation. A qualifying element of the course is the operational internship at Difesa servizi spa, which will enable participants to directly confront entrepreneurial models applied to public administration.
Initiative within the framework of the reform of the military instrument
Promoted by the Ministry of Defence in the framework of thereform of the military instrument, the master's course offers a unique academic pathway in the national panorama, with a multidisciplinary and operationally oriented approach. "This master's degree is a concrete opportunity to deepen our knowledge of the cultural and historical heritage of Defence and to develop professional skills that Italy needs, especially at this time," commented Minister Crosetto. "It will help to train professionals capable of enhancing an extraordinary heritage and promoting the culture of Defence as a fundamental element of our national identity
