Like I Suoni delle Dolomiti (Sounds of the Dolomites), an event now in its 29th edition, music on the road among the peaks of Trentino. Like Le Dimore del Quartetto, which this week takes us to the Tuscan Val d'Orcia. Like Elba Music, which in the wake of the union between music and nature, between art and history, introduces us to the beauty of Portoferraio and the other towns on the island; Martha Argerich's piano opens.

Trentino

"Listen, Dolomites, sounds, open spaces, silence, light, high lands, walking, commitment, sharing, respect, accessibility, tradition": these are the points of the Manifesto of the Sounds of the Dolomites, the festival now in its 29th edition, from 28 August to 29 September in the mountains of Trentino. Music on the way among the peaks, a month of concerts in spaces reached on foot by the public in the company of musicians, listening to world music, classical music, songwriting, jazz, encounters between music and literature. It starts in the groove of world music, or rather of fado: on the 28th at Malga Tassulla, in the natural amphitheatre enclosing the Pian della Nana, in the northernmost sector of the Brenta Dolomites, Carminho, one of the most talented fado singers of the latest generations, will bring the poignant poetry of Portugal's music par excellence to high altitudes. Among the numerous appointments, we would like to mention a 'classic' of the festival, namely the trek: three days of sounds and words, from 4 to 6 September in the rocky heart of the Pale di San Martino, where an ideal bridge will be built between the mountains of Trentino and the American Badlands through the words of writer Paolo Cognetti and the songs of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash and other 'stars and stripes' legends, interpreted by the voice and guitar of Pietro Brunello and the cello of Mario Brunello.

The numerous concerts include pianist Martha Argerich on the 30th, with Beethoven's Concerto No. 1.
