Il Sole 24 Ore at the Salone del Risparmio 2026: conferences, specials and live broadcasts on private credit and supplementary pensions
From 5 to 7 May in Milan, the Il Sole 24 Ore Group offers in-depth reports, events and live radio broadcasts on managed savings and new investment opportunities.
The Il Sole 24 Ore Group confirms also for 2026 its presence at the Salone del Risparmio, the reference event in Europe for the asset management industry, scheduled from 5 to 7 May at the Allianz MiCo - Milano Congressi (Gate 1, Gate 2, Gate 16).
To mark the opening of the 16th edition of the Show, on 5 May Il Sole 24 Ore will publish a three-page special by Plus24, dedicated to the main themes of the managed savings industry, including market scenarios, innovation and new investment opportunities.
Among the scheduled appointments, on Thursday 7 May from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m., in Amber Room 6, there will be a Lecture by Plus24 entitled "The Dark Side of Private Credit", dedicated to the analysis of one of the most debated asset classes of recent months.
The discussion will delve into the characteristics of investing in private credit, which requires a long-term time horizon and full awareness of liquidity constraints, with a focus on the increasing accessibility of these instruments through Eltif 2.0, which can now also be subscribed to by small investors, and the caution required when evaluating investment proposals.
Risks related to industry transparency, portfolio complexity, leverage and the critical issues that have emerged in the private debt market, particularly in the US, will also be analysed, as well as the steps needed to strengthen investor confidence and encourage a more effective channelling of capital into the real economy.
