Infocamere: 133 million in economic value distributed to stakeholders
This is revealed in Infocamere’s 2025 sustainability report. Over 36,000 hours of training were provided.
Infocamere’s stakeholders have no cause for complaint. The IT consortium of the Italian chambers of commerce has generated an economic value of 133 million euros. This is according to the eighth edition of Infocamere’s sustainability report; its main task is to manage and digitise the Business Register.
“The path to sustainability is an ongoing commitment,” said InfoCamere’s president, Antonio Santocono. “For us, digital innovation is a natural asset and a driver of progress that becomes a public good when accompanied by certified information that is accessible and useful to the community.”
Stakeholders and economic value
Here is how the 133 million was distributed amongst the stakeholders. Staff received the largest share, amounting to approximately 72.5 million euros (55 per cent); this figure includes salaries, severance pay, social security contributions and benefits. In second place were suppliers, with around 59 million euros (44%) in the form of operating costs. Next came the public administration, with around 1.4 million euros (1%) paid in the form of direct and indirect taxes and duties to the State and local authorities.
Investment in human capital is also important. ‘During 2025,’ the document explains, ‘the commitment to developing human capital took the form of a total of 36,723 hours of training, which works out at an average of around 35 hours per year for each employee.’
Finally, flexible working and CO₂ reduction. “Smart working policies have led, by 2025, to a reduction in monthly per capita emissions of 31.16 kg of CO₂, as explained in the report, corresponding to approximately 2.31 trees per employee.”
