Jonathan Anderson will be the new creative director of Dior Homme: this was stated by Bernard Arnault, president and CEO of the Lvmh group, to which the brand belongs, during the annual shareholders' meeting in Paris. Anderson, for whom this appointment was somewhat expected, will already sign the men's collection to be presented next June in Paris. Northern Irish, 40, had left Loewe (another Lvmh group brand) last 17 March, after 13 years as creative director. On 24 March the creative duo of Proenza Schouler, consisting of designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, had been appointed to lead Loewe.

The role of creative director of Dior Homme had been vacant since last January, when Kim Jones left the post after seven years.

Speaking to shareholders, Arnault also evoked the 'extraordinary work' of Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior's creative director, in women's fashion.

In the first quarter of 2025, Lvmh, the world's largest luxury group, reported revenues down 2% to EUR 20.3 billion. The Fashion & Leather Goods segment, the largest by revenue, declined by 4% to EUR 10.1 billion.
