Juventus and Luciano Spalletti have agreed on a new contract. The coach has put his signature on the bond until 30 June 2028, thus espousing the Continassa club's project. The coach from Certaldo had arrived under the Mole last 30 October.
"When I arrived seven months ago they offered me this contract: it was a bit like saying let's hang out a bit, let's get to know each other and then slowly we'll be free to decide what we want based on what we've done": this is how Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti announced his renewal with the club until 2028 to his boys. "I accepted without any hesitation because I wanted to realise what Juventus was from the inside, I had this desire here, and to realise what you were because I was impressed to see you from the outside and I liked the fact of entering your locker room and training you," he added in a video content posted by the club on social - it was easy to imagine the greatness of Juventus, it was easy to imagine what the futurist idea of Juventus is, it was more difficult to find a nice group of united guys like you, a strong group that wants to be together, almost as if you were all in the same jersey and every time I see you I think of Juve, every time I see you I see Juve.
Spalletti added: "I thought it was more important first of all to tell you this fact, that then we decided to extend this contract for another two years - the message given to Locatelli and his team-mates - I want you to know it first, before it comes out, I am telling you today: of course we have challenges ahead of us, but I am convinced that together with you they will become good challenges because I will face them with your willingness and your strength as you have always done.
