Kia brings a long list of electric novelties to the Munich Motor Show

The compact EV4, the EV2 concept together with the EV5 SUV and PV5 will be present

Kia has chosen Germany's IAA Mobility 2025, scheduled to take place from 9 to 14 September, to unveil its forthcoming innovations, starting with the compact EV4 and the Concept EV2 to be previewed for the public at the Kia stand in the heart of Munich. They will be joined by the EV5 and PV5 suv, the latter being the first model to be launched as part of the brand's Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy and Kia's debut in the light commercial vehicle segment.

Present in Munich was the compact EV4, which will debut on the market in the fourth quarter of this year and is the brand's first electric vehicle to be built in Europe.

Alongside the compact car, a European premiere for the EV5 suv, which combines a muscular design with outstanding practicality for everyday use and state-of-the-art technology.

Finally, there is the Kia Concept EV2 that hints at the arrival of an agile and compact electric SUV. Designed to transform the way people experience urban spaces, the Concept EV2 highlights how Kia could target customers with a focus on lifestyle, sustainability and an eagerness to experiment with new technologies.

Also on display in Munich will be the PV5 Cargo and PV5 Passenger, the first models to be launched as part of the Korean brand's Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy. Kia PV5, specifically designed to meet the evolving needs of contemporary mobility and transport, is an intelligent and highly flexible solution.

Space for test drives

Finally, three award-winning models from the current electric range will be available in the test drive area: the EV3 compact SUV, fresh winner of the 'World Car of the Year 2025' and the 'Golden Steering Wheel 2024' ('Best Car under 40.000 euros), Kia's seven-seater flagship EV9 ('World Car of the Year 2024', 'World Electric Vehicle 2024', 'Golden Steering Wheel 2023' in the 'Family Cars' category) and the restyled EV6 crossover, which was the first vehicle from the Korean brand to win the 'Car of the Year' title in Europe in 2022.
