Motor range
.With more than 7 million units sold, the Kia Sportage is now being brought to the European market with major upgrades in looks and technology.
As a fundamental part of the brand's strategy towards increasingly responsible mobility, the restyled C-Suv is being offered at launch with different types of powertrain: 1.6-litre petrol with 150 hp, Mild-hybrid 1.6-litre diesel with 136 hp, Full Hybrid 1.6-litre petrol with 239 hp. Later (not yet on the list) will come the 288 hp Plug-in Hybrid and, for the Italian market, an LPG-fuelled version is also expected.
Interior and connectivity
The interior offers an elegant cockpit with ample space for every passenger. A new feature is the steering wheel with an all-new two-spoke design, while the updated dashboard top and integrated air diffusers give the cabin an elegant, minimalist feel. New seat covers increase comfort, while the GT-Line version features an elegant black and white faux leather and suede interior.
The ample on-board space is also confirmed in the 587 litre load capacity, which can be increased to 1,776 litres with the second row seats folded down.
