Meloni: forward with proposal to stop parental authority bosses
"We intend to go ahead with the bill signed by the president of the Anti-Mafia Commission, Colosimo, to remove parental authority from mafia bosses". So said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Thursday's briefing on government action. While the prime minister was speaking, the president of Palazzo Madama, Ignazio La Russa, called out Dem senator Walter Verini, who complained that "the 'Free to Choose' law originated with Libera and Don Ciotti and the Committee chaired by Rando and is not by Colosimo". Meloni then took the floor again, explaining that the proposal 'was presented and has the first signature of President Colosimo, it takes nothing away from anyone to say that. After that I am happy that it is a proposal on which there is convergence and we can certainly work on it together'.
