Long live petrol engines

Not only electric cars but also new electrified petrol engines, such as those presented by Horse Powertrain, a company born from the agreement between Renault Group, Geely and Aramco. Designed to ensure maximum efficiency and to be combined with the electric motors of hybrid cars, the 2-, 3- and 4-cylinder units can be powered by either petrol or alternative fuels such as methanol. Also on offer are engines with a range extender, characterised by their small 1.0-litre displacement and two- or three-cylinder fractionation.
