Manoeuvre, up to 1,000 euro per month for severely disabled war victims and funds for survivors of political violence in the 1970s
Many micro-norms in the reformulations of the amendments to be approved by the Senate
Up to EUR 1,000 per month for one year in lieu of a military escort: this is what great war invalids will be able to claim if a reformulation of a amendment to the manoeuvre is approved. The proposal establishes a maximum allowance for those with 'superdisability'. The necessary resources are about half a million euro per year from 2026.
Funds for survivors of 1970s political violence
A 'handout' of 200,000 euro for the survivors of civilian victims of political violence who died between 1970 and 1979, even in the absence of a final sentence. This is called for in a reformulated amendment to the manoeuvre. The spending limit is ten million per year.
Ok to 90 thousand euro over three years for 'Vie e Cammini S. Francesco'
An allocation of 90,000 euro over the three-year period for the National Association 'Vie e Cammini di San Francesco. This is provided for in one of the amendments to the manoeuvre approved by the Senate Budget Committee, which sets a quota of 30,000 euro per year starting from 2026. Still on the tourism front, an expenditure of 500,000 euro is also authorised for the promotion of 'quality tourist destinations', recognised by the Ministry of Tourism, with a population of up to 30 thousand inhabitants.
Less curbs on tourists' cash purchases
Fewer stakes for cash purchases made by foreign tourists. This is laid down in an amendment to the manoeuvre approved last night by the Senate Budget Committee in a version that reformulates proposals presented by the League, FI and M5s. In fact, traders and tour operators will have to notify the Revenue Agency of the transaction if the 5,000 euro threshold is exceeded, whereas currently the threshold was set at 1,000 euro.
Funds for summer centres for children and seniors rise to 1 million
One million in the two-year period 2026-2027 to create 'summer communities for children and the elderly, also through the regeneration of disused buildings'. The allocation comes with a reformulation of an amendment to the manoeuvre that modifies the currently available resources of 100,000 euro per year for the same objective.
