The Mille Miglia 2025 closes with the victory of Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli in an Alfa Romeo 6C 1750, for the fifth consecutive time on the top step of the podium of the Red Arrow. After five days of racing, 1900 kilometres covered and more than 400 historic cars on the move, the 'most beautiful race in the world' confirmed the dominance of the Brescian driver, but above all it brought a veritable travelling museum along the 'figure eight' shaped route of the pre-war editions. Not only classic cars but also 110 accredited media cars, including the Mercedes AMG SL 63 S E Performance with which we followed the caravan of the Mille Miglia along the Bologna-Rome stage.
Mille Miglia 2025, the winners
As in the 2024 edition, Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli came out on top for the sixth consecutive time, followed by Daniel Andres Erejomovich and Gustavo Llanos in a 1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 Ss, who took first place at the end of the fourth day of competition. Third were Tonconogy-Ruffini in a 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Gs. The Ferrari Tribute 1000 Miglia went to Roland Hotz and Giordano Mozzi in a Ferrari F8 Spider, while the seventh edition of the 1000 Miglia Green was won by Mirco Magni and Federico Giavardi in a Polestar 4.

10 hours, 7 minutes and 48 seconds, maintaining an average speed of 157.6 km/h. The protagonists? Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson, when they completed the Mille Miglia in 1955 aboard the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR '722' in a record time that remains unbeaten. Fifty years later, we find ourselves on the Mille Miglia track in the Mercedes Amg SL 63 S E Performance, a model that combines performance and technology with the charm of the legendary SL roadster. Powered by the 612-horsepower V8 endothermic engine mounted at the front, it adds 204 horsepower from the electric motor mounted at the rear, for a total power output of 816 horsepower and an impressive 1,450 Nm of maximum torque, ensuring a top speed of 314 km/h and a 0-100 km/h sprint covered in just 2.9 seconds.
