From the women's bonus to the youth bonus and Zes. The Milleproroghe decree is approaching its arrival in the Chamber of Deputies on Friday. Among the amendments approved is the extension of the employment bonus, which was initially skipped from the measure. For the extension of the three bonuses, a total of EUR 417.6 million is allocated over three years (153.9 in 2026, 184.8 in 2027 and 78.9 for 2028).
Women's Bonus extended by one year
In particular, the women's bonus is extended by one year until 31 December 2026, unchanged. That is, the exemption from the payment of 100 per cent of employers' social security contributions, for a maximum period of 24 months, in relation to the open-ended hiring of disadvantaged female workers.
Youth Bonus and Zes
The bonus for young people and the bonus Zes Mezzogiorno-Zes Unica are extended until 30 April 2026, but the decontribution for employers who hire under-35s remains at 100 per cent for hirings and transformations up to 31 December 2025; for subsequent hirings it remains at 100 per cent only if the hirings entail a 'net increase in employment', otherwise it drops to 70 per cent. As regards the bonus for young people, the possibility of taking advantage of the decontribution if hiring in the regions of the Zes Mezzogiorno is also extended to the Marche and Umbria regions.

"The amendment to the Milleproroghe dl allows the use, also in 2026, of the employment support measures provided for in the Cohesion Decree, with special attention to young people, women and workers over 35 in the Special Economic Zones. Thus the Minister of Labour and Social Policies, Marina Calderone. "The extension of the incentives has never been in question and we have done our utmost on the basis of the resources made available in the budget law, confirming that young people, women and the South are absolute priorities for this Ministry and for the Meloni government," Calderone stressed.
